I understand Callaway uses color codes to indicate their lie angles similar to PING.  PING has historically use the "dot" system, however, what visual indicator does Callaway use?

I have a new X-14 "A" wedge I purchased sometime ago, and the lowest face groove is paint filled with white paint.  Is this the lie angle indicator or just cosmetic?

Seems silly BUT just curious.

The Cally lie angle colors are applied in the very top groove of the face nearest the toe if you have a lie angle that is not "standard."

The white paint in the lower groove of the face or "scoring line" is meant to aid in alignment. Cally and Ping, for example, use the painted line in the bottom groove.

Callaway color codes as follows;
Green = 1* up
White = 2* up
Blue = 3* up
No Color = Std
Gold = 1* flat
Red = 2* flat
Yellow = 3* flat
I hope this helps.
