The Golf Space and Golf Discussions affiliation

Golf Discussions and the new site "The Golf Space" have formed a special affiliation to provide their users with the ultimate set of online tools for the online golf enthusiast.

What is The Golf Space?

The Golf Space, located at http://www.thegolfspace.com, is a new networking site for golfers, golf courses and golf businesses.  The Golf Space is golf's version of popular social network sites like myspace.com or friendster.com, but with the main focus on golf and golf business.

Slated to open it's web doors to the public on April 3rd, 2006 (Masters week), The Golf Space will provide free user profiles with dozens of custom profile description fields, networking for friends and business, personal web presence/URL, matchmaking, personal blogs, photo galleries, chat, articles and more.

Special early invitation for GD members

Though The Golf Space officially opens to the public on Monday April 3rd,  Golf Discussions members may sign up now to assure they get the premium choice of usernames before the good ones are taken.

GD & TGS Profile Links

Golf Discussions now has a new profile field where you can put your Golf Space username.  If you've put in a TGS username in the field, a small TGS logo will appear in your profile in the forum.  The Golf Space's user profile also has the same reciprocal field with it's user profile where you can put your Golf Discussions profile name.

go into your profile here.  Then click on forum profile information and go to the last field.  That's where you put your TGS username!

Click on golfdiscussions avatar to pull up his profile.  Then in the menus above his image select "request connection" and a private message will be sent with your request.  when and IF xtreme accepts the connection you'll be notified via PM  :-)

Pretty good!  It's actually been great since all my new friends here got the news!  Blogs are getting even more action than I thought.

Got the home page gallery image working today so a random user gallery photo will be there!
