Ok. The mark on the shaft matches up with the logo on the shaft. Now, I have been told that mark should point to the target. So, is that alignment set up for distance, accuracy etc?
I was told that pointing at target was distance, away was accuracy, up was fight a draw and down was fight a slice.
Please adivse?

Some like it to match the target, away from the target, spine it straight up or down. Each has their own thoughts on how to do it, I always go straight up. http://www.lowprogolf.com/helpspine.htm

I've been in contact with Ken and by the way, this is a good guy! I can understand why his reputation is so good. His recommendation is to set up the shaft in a neutral or distance spine only. Neutral - Spine and Face both facing 9 o'clock Distance - Spine at 3 o'clock, Face at 9 o'clock
I asked Ken to define "Distance" and his answer is "Distance will help kick threw impact more and yes may offer a better launch for more carry yards"

I thought spine at nine was distance, and isn't face always at 9? I thought neutral was at 3? And no, I am not kidding! On the other hand, all the g5 hybrids I picked up with NV something or others in there had the logo facing 3 maybe 3 is the distance....

If your right handed, the face will be at 9 ....................... wise guy! Quote from Ken - "I like to set up woods and irons for a neutral or distance spine only .. it's not a fail safe procedure but I have seen it work with experimenting with my own clubs as to getting more accurate shots. For distance spine we locate it at the 3 o'clock position. The face of the club being at 9....for a neutral location we would align the spine mark with the face at 9 o'clock.. hope this helps"

Got you, I was not trying to stir the pot no matter what you and hillary's thighs think. I was however surprised to see that the distance location was opposite what I had been told previously....by who, I don't know coulda been my 7 year old.

I believe Robby stated in an earlier post that his particular preference is 9 o'clock. XC likes it at 6 Me - my preference is generally Saturday night

Hey XC!! Got it! Whoa!! The Limey is LIMEY! What a shaft!! How long is that thing?? 45.5"?? Gotta be... Man, that's one cool looking shaft... makes my TP Diamana look boring... The real test will come tomorrow. I take it that you like a LOT of lead tape... Looks like a potent combo though. Man, I LOVE the grip. That grip feels sweet.... And yes, that's an open face. Makes my R5 TP look closed.. it's so open!!

The game of golf is played pin high!! If anything, take one more club. Far too many golfers never hit their approach shots even remote close to the green.

Enjoy it buddy

Is this a Limey ? Sure looks like it. Especially the top one with the really small logo in the guy's shadow. I don't know though, it looks kinda like that G logo that Graman has. -Lucky7

That would be pretty cool if the Limey made it to the pros. Our little Limey is all grown up.

So I just finished installing the Limey 540 s into a wishon 515 (440cc). 44.5 in. B-E-A-Utiful! Many kudos to our friends at Graman. I want to go Limey in every club (eventually, and when Graman will make the lime iron shafts!!! ) I can't wait to hit it this coming week! I will post a review and use comparisons to my old head/shaft instead of the "added 28 yards immediately with a nice high fade" BS. Pretty soon we will be callling this LimeyDiscussions after everyone switches to the green machine
