Freddie Yak just went out in 29.  All the guys are shooting low.  Par 71 course.  If the early guys can move it around before the winds of Hurricane Earl reach them, there should be uber-low scores.

I think not until later tonight/early morning. The storm is supposed to reach Long Island by 8pm tonight.

That storm could make for some very bad playing conditions tomorrow depending on its track, it might mean no play tomorrow at all. Then the problem is that this tournament ends Monday, if it goes to Tuesday, they only have one day of practice for the BMW AND that's Wednesday which is pro-am day, that means much of the field will not get to practice.

Is there a cut in this tournament?

Typical cut, top 70 and ties; if 79 or more make the cut, then an additional "cut" will be made for the final round.

Zach Johnson and Jason Day are in the clubhouse at -8, 63s.

Any one else notice that Charley Hoffman and his green golf glove are sponsored by Waste Management?  No matter I guess.  The main is dropping bombs from the bunker, from 15 feet out, from 8 feet out, it's his day and his tourney.  4 shot lead with 2 to go.  So glad an American could come through with a big Sunday round and smash this thing wide open.   yahoo

Suck it Luke.

It's starting to look like Mr Mandel's peuso-buddy, Hoffman will win this easily. It'll be interesting to see what spin that idiot will come up with after Charley wins this one.

Can you imagine how much better Mr. Hoffman could have done if he had let the tools "optimize" his game?
