After getting off work a little early tonight I wandered to the par 3/4 course with my co-workers. As we were waiting for the green to clear on a massive 270 yard par 4, a couple pulled up to the tee behind us. As usual during that quick glance over to see who it is, the only thing I noticed was not one BUT TWO Airhammers sticking out of the bag. Then I saw what was even worse, the infamous Air Hammer fairway wood. If their little kid wasn't with the couple and I had actually paid to play golf today, I would have yelled PPPPPPPOOOOOOWWWWWW during my swing on the backswing and well after I hit the ball. When we were done with the hole, I watched them tee off and yeah the guy still had 150 in after his drive and the fairway wood still didn't make the green. He clearly did not hit the tool of doom !!

So if you are playing in front of someone that has a Air Hammer Monster that drove into you, it can only be concluded that the ball would make it to you before you heard the explosive sound of the ball coming off of the russian military nuclear submarine robotics grade unubtanium that produces ball speeds that break the sound barrier. There is a warning on the club that prohibits from using titanium injected golf balls for fear of atom splitting results when producing mind blowing contact on the club face that would only endanger everyone on the course because of your awesomeness !! Its so badass even Chuck Norris couldn't handle its pure raw power when combined with the roaring blood thirsty black panther slazenger distance golf balls! If you use any other ball you are leaving yards on the table.

Maybe they didn't know that the club is actually activated by yelling.

Seems to me the odds of this happening are up there with being hit by a dead satellite while smoking crack with one of Tiger's ex sextoys.

Tiger's ex sextoys.

Not as uncommon as you suggest...

B/C - couple months ago I'm at the driving range waiting to pick up a club when a guy walks in - He's dressed for 18 holes - got on the softspikes, the Nike Dri-FIT, the J Lindberg logo'd golf belt, new FJ glove, requisite khakis and is holding an Air Hammer in his hands.

He's clearly in not a so good mood as he speaks with the guy behind the counter -
"Look, this new grip that you put on is no good..., I told you I need a midsize with one wrap" .

Counter Guy -
"Let me find your ticket...Y'up thats what we put on"

A/H Guy -
"Well there is something wrong with it."

Counter Guy -
"How so ?"

A/H Guy -
"Everything I hit flies to the right. This club is suppossed to hit everything straight. It has to be a problem with the grip. Let me talk to the Pro, your club guy screwed up my club"  cheesyf
