Lee Westwood Phil Mickelson Jeff Overton Ricky Barnes
It's gonna be a shootout folks. Lee Westwood is sitting T4. Barnes just slipped out of the top ten but is still playing. Jeff Overton is T11 with Barnes and a gaggle of golfers. No one has Oosthuizen or Casey. And only yours truly has ze German. If things ended now, I believe prov1 would be the winner. The weird thing about The Open though is guys that don't make the cut get paid too. Weird I know. It throws a monkey wrench when things are really close like this finish is portending to be.

Lee Westwood Justin Rose Ryo Ishikawa Rory McIlroy
Your post cost is 476 at the moment. More importantly, 8 posts for the month of July by the end of The Open.

This might be my first post in at least a year or two but my boy NJM invited me in Philly Mick Rory McIlroy Justin Rose Lee Westwood (the leader after 3 rounds and his typical elfoldo on Sunday Steve-O, I'm thinking you picked a helluva of a time to come out of retirement. It's early but you have the daily duo combo of Westwood and McIlroy. Throw in Philly Mick and I think you're going to be unbeatable. It won't be official until the actually winnings are announced. Early congrats if you are the weinner that stole my wedge.

The Top Ten at The Open Louie O - no one picked him of course Lee Westwood - 18 of your chalk picking mothereffers had him in your pools Rory McIlroy - 8 of you had him. 4 had a combo of Westwood McIlroy but 3 were ineligible. Henrik Stenson - no one picked him Paul Casey - no one picked him Retief Goosen - two picked him Rock Rock and Sean O'Hair - no one picked them Nick Watney - one picked him Martin Kaymer - Only one picked him and that was me. Effer finished bogey, bogey, bogey to fall from T2 to T7.

Here are the purse results from last year:
p-Stewart Cink 66-72-71-69--278 $1,221,005 Tom Watson 65-70-71-72--278 $732,603 Chris Wood 70-70-72-67--279 $415,142 Lee Westwood 68-70-70-71--279 $415,142 Luke Donald 71-72-70-67--280 $255,597 Retief Goosen 67-70-71-72--280 $255,597 Mathew Goggin 66-72-69-73--280 $255,597 Soren Hansen 68-72-74-67--281 $147,172 Ernie Els 69-72-72-68--281 $147,172 Justin Leonard 70-70-73-68--281 $147,172 Thomas Aiken 71-72-69-69--281 $147,172 Richard Johnson 70-72-69-70--281 $147,172
The purse for 2010 will be similar so I don't see a scenario where 99LuftBalloons loses.

How could I not have won? I used the more common new-English spelling of Louis' name, "Zach Johnson". How was I supposed to know that there was a guy in the field with the same name? R35

Crap! I didn't even know that Barnes blew up like that yesterday. That would have helped me out had he stayed up in the good numbers. Oh well. Congrats to 99 on the good guessing!

No, i had your wife do it.This contest is rigged, I tells ya. R35 And it was worth it. I couldn't afford the $8000 it would have cost me to ship the wedge up here to the arctic circle anyways. Congrats 99poppedballoons and thanks Camster for the great opportunity afforded me to be ridiculed by my so called peers for only having 8 posts.

Thanks to that chubby bundle of joy you now have, you won't get to enjoy much more though. Kids are murder on the ol' handicap.
