TrueTemper TT lite has always been a close match. Number 4 was stiff and all Hogan irons were .355 tip taper.

Graphite or Steel?  What Model Year and Model?  TT and Royal Precision both manufactured Shafts for Hogan irons...  More info needed...

The earlier Hogan Apex steel shafts were much closer to TT Dynalite then any other shaft. Early on, TT said they released the TT Dynalite to the public as it was such a successful design for Hogan. Compare the stepping patterns and you will see they are close if not near identical especially in tip to first step which is critical.

Even later when other companies made Hogan Apex shafts, they were still similar to TT Dynalite as per Hogan's specifications.

Might could be an issue finding taper tipped Dynalites.

I always used the dynalite if I didn't have any apex 4s in reserve. Did dozens of reshafts with dynalite in late 70s to early 80s.
