I saw a full set of these woods (1,3,4,5) at the local Goodwill shop and they looked so good and lightly used that I bought them on an impulse, even though I don't collect classic clubs or know if these are even considered classics.

Can anyone tell me how old they are or what the story is behind them?  They are persimmon with a red/black keyhole insert. They are painted black and on the crown the word "Tourney" is etched through much larger "M". They have steel shafts that all say MacGegor Pro-Pel 2 and the grips are all leather wraps.

Tough to tell exactly without pics, but I am fairly certain the clubs are from 1962-1964.. Nice sticks. the insert is cycolac, the #2 shaft is a firm designation.
Cant beat the old Macs!
