I have moved to Vegas, and get to play my first round on Saturday. I am in the Summerlin area, but don't mind traveling a bit. Anyone up for a round? on Saturday?

I will be in town next weekend, unfortunately I can't make it this weekend due to the NCOIC of the school that I am in said, "No" to all passes. I was hoping to make it up there on Thursday night, but next weekend will be good too.

I will be in Vegas on Friday night. I don't know what time, as it depends on when I can get out of school. I am driving up from Yuma, and I have been told that it is about 5-6 hour drive. I am playing on Saturday with Joe, and who ever wants to play.

So where were you Jim? I was down in Yuma still. I couldn't leave the area because the school NCOIC of the school that I am attending wouldn't let us leave the area. I will be there next weekend though, if you are available. |

Mountain Falls would be the course in Pahrump. It's a great track, more than challenging and usually very affordable.

Looks like I will need to get used to playing in wind. On Saturday, it was blowing about 15MPH at the start of the round, with gusts of 25. Half way, it was up to 30 with gusts of 40, and by the end of the round, it was blowing a good 40. |

I know exactly where that is. Not a bad area to live. I was looking at Pahrump, because of GolfNow, all of the Vegas area courses are still rather high. I would get the locals rate, but can't find the local rates.
