I won a Golf Galaxy $75 gift card in a tournament last weekend, and I'm not sure what to spend it on.  There are no stores in NM, so I can't just go in and browse and pick something that peaks my interest.  Since a lot of you guys have all kinds of toys and such, I thought maybe I'd get a few good suggestions in here.

My original thought was use this "free" money to try out some different golf balls (always played proV1x), but I'm undecided.

Penta. Very, very impressed with the one I managed to snaffle which lasted 1 and a bit rounds before I lost it.  Long enough off the driver, great distance control, very consistent, and perfect drop and stop.  Works very well with worn wedges so I'm guessing also the 2010 C of C equipment.

I like to buy the "consumables" with gift cards like that: balls, gloves, tees, spikes, etc.

That was what I was thinking, but thought someone might also have a "gadget" idea or two that might be interesting.

So, I'm sure I'll take some heat for this post, but so be it.  There's probably reviews and recommendations about gloves on here somewhere, but i'm lazy tonight (just did taxes, not into doing any more than I have to right now).

I usually buy a footjoy glove at my course when I need a new one, and I don't know which model/etc.  Last time, they didn't have my size, so I picked up a Nike glove.  The first impression I had was that the footjoy glove had an immediate tackiness that I really liked.  The nike just felt like a glove.  Not that it didn't have grip, but nowhere near the footjoy.  I've not spent any time checking out different brands of gloves, so was I just imagining the difference or are gloves really that different?
