I'm Going Off The Rails On A Crazy Train...

« on: March 11, 2010, 08:09:55 AM »

I'm going to acknowledge a bit of plagiarism. I read this question somewhere else and thought it would be a good series of questions to get some thoughts here.

___________________________________________

So where do we stand on the issues of...

1. Tiger won't play again this year.

2. Tiger has to completely disband his team

3. Elin has to cut Tiger loose

4. Tiger doesn't have the "power" over his opponents anymore

5. Tiger will never win another major

___________________________________________

1. He will play in 2010
2. No changes - it will be interesting though to see the Williams / spectators interaction. I would love to be a fly on the wall as Woods/Williams/IMG figure out how Williams will handle that.
3. Elin...my wife would have been long gone. I'm thinking she doesn't make it to Jan. 2011. The kids will have one last Christmas.
4. Tiger will continue to kick ass and take numbers
5. If you bet the house on that one you'll be homeless in the next two years.

1.  He will
2.  He should, but he won't
3.   cheesyf  I like the word "cut" in this one.
4.  Once he's "back", he'll be BACK!!
5.  Don't count on, NEVER.  He will.

1. He will.  I think now probably sooner than later.

2. Don't think he has to -- or will.

3. Recent reports say they are back together and getting along, but who really knows?  I don't think she "has" to cut him loose but probably will eventually.

4.  He doesn't now only because he's not playing.  IF he comes back and IF he regains his form it most likley won't be any different than before.

5.  Never is a long time.  I wouldn't bet against that.

1.  He will.  Bay Hill probably.  Lots think if he skipped Augusta, it would be a signal that he's really remorseful and trying to change.  As Divot Dan said, not too concerned about it either way.

2.  I think he should have trusted his "team" at IMG during this public crisis.  Based on the haphazardness of it, I strongly suspect he did not.  I think he called the shots and listened to no one but himself.  Big mistake.  As far as Stevie and possibly other enablers on his team, ultimately it's him that putting his d!ck in other women...unless they are ever so kind to guide it for him.  Either way, it's on him; not his team.

3.  Between them.

4.  Element of truth.  I think Brandel Chamblee has this right.  He doesn't hit it 20 yards past anybody now.  His power has been diminished.  Power is a big requisite at majors.  He'll win as often as he did at regular tour events.  But the lack of power will cost him more at majors.

5.  He won at Hoylake without his driver.  He still has the skillz to win another major even without a significant power advantage.  He'll win another major.  The question isn't as laughable as it would have been 2 years ago though.

1. He will (and will wear white pants)
2. He won't (while wearing aforementioned white pants)
3. She will once she catches him with another snatch while his white pants are around his ankles.
4. How can anyone wearing white pants have "power" over another man?
5. He will, but only when wearing previously mentioned white pants.

There......two birds, one stone (but the birds are wearing white pants as well  winkey)

I wish Tiger would quit golf forever. I believe golf is better off without him. I'm so sick of Tiger, the media and Tiger, and I'm sick of watching US golf b/c all I hear is Tiger this, Tiger that. He isn't even playing and I still have to hear every effing person's opinion on Tiger. He can die for all I care.

I watched the Maybank Malaysian event last week, and it was freaking awesome. No Tiger crap, just golf. Lot's of it too. Not the 4 shots, then 4 commercials. Not that dumb chic Tillingham or Mr. Pepper or Johnny or Jim or Gary. Nope, just a couple of English dudes not trying to be stars. Loved it. Thank you for Tivo.

That is where I stand.

I still think he should go back to Butch Harmon.  He was dominant with the swing that Butch and he worked out.
