Looks like a good opportunity and possibly a bad one.

I think it would be a good opportunity for somebody with proper knowledge and equipment to be able to perform quality work.  50 Square feet sounds like a rather small working area.  Would you really feel like your gear was safe when not there?  Sunrise til 8 or 9 pm is quite a long work day considering that sunrise during the Summer months is around 0500.  I can see it being bad for customers if you get somebody in there that is a low bidder just to get the contract, then doesn't provide good work or lessons.  Lastly, how much is the City going to get into your pockets?

I did not read the whole thing but a question. Is this just a renewal of an existing contract(s) and presently held by somone or is it new from the get go?

Quite often when a Public Bid hits the street it was written to favor an existing vendor. Not only that, but a smart vendor (old or new) would have had a hand in guiding the writing to favor them. Been there, done that.........LOL

Personally I think a clubmaker and club fitter at a public facility would starve. A public facility can sell OEM stuff if they are willing to really, really deal otherwise the Internet and retail operations will beat them to death.

"Re-whipping..."

Warms my heart just to know that anybody still remembers whipping on clubheads.
