I have a TEC 3 wood that I picked up a few years ago with a regular Ping graphite shaft in it. I knew it'd need a reshaft and I've been living with hitting it carefully. A friend of mine gave me a ys-6 FW shaft last year so I figured its time. I don't want to go through replacing the hosel adaptor myself so I figure I'll cut and drill out the existing shaft slowly. Questions... 1. What's the depth of the adaptor 2. The ys-6 is a .335 and the Ping is a .350.... If I drilled out .335's worth would it hold?  ... just curious on that one. |

Again, the Tec issues and you don't come to me!!!   This is what I have. I have a shaft that pulled out of the hosel of one of the Tec 3 woods I have. From the end of the angled hosel to the end of the shaft is 1 5/8". As far as drilling and making it hold? That's a new one for me. What did Frank say? Always give it a try, see what happens. |

I use BillyBob's aftermarket ones... I actually find them of better quality...
I just looked at Billybob's ones, and those are the ones I use. Just makes it LOOK like it was done aftermarket... JMO.  |

I just looked at Billybob's ones, and those are the ones I use. Just makes it LOOK like it was done aftermarket... JMO. I didn't think that anyone even looks at those old Ping Woods anymore...? |
