My older brother and I grew up playing golf in the summer with my dad in Salt Lake City, UT. School years were with our mom and step-dad in Montana, so summer golf had to be as good as we could get. My dad has probably the sweetest, most graceful swing that you will ever see. Put a persimmon driver in his hand and there is peace in all the land,

.
When we were kids, there were guys making custom clubs in a few shops in SLC. It seems to me that one of the most respected names was Branca Custom Golf. If you could afford his woods, you had something special. Morgan and I never had that sort of loot, but we made due with what was given us and had an absolute blast, every summer.
So, the other day I was in a local swap meet and what do I find? Yep, a decent condition set of Branca custom woods, in blonde.........my favorite shade. I couldn't resist............duh............now they have a new home.
The driver is in very good shape, the 5-wood is decent, but the 3-wood has some checking on the heel, as a few clubs did, in those days.
Curious part? What the heck is a "T-300" shaft?
Check out the pics and offer any info you may have. I am all ears.
Thanks again,
