Read that Stricker was now the #2 ranked player in the world surpassing Phil.  I like Stricker.  Good player and a decent guy.   He's earned it.

Question is -- how long can TW hang on to being #1 without playing?  Personally, I don't care if he ever comes back but at some point he would lose his ranking, correct?

The rankings change more often now than they ever have but they're still damn near inertial.  Unless Phil or Stricks win at the Masters or run off multiple wins, Tiger should be good until the US Open, if he doesn't come back before then.
