I have a Scotty Cammeron JAT Prototype that I have cut down to 33" and would like to add some weight to.  I do not want to put lead tape on it either. What can I do? It is also an over the hosel type shaft.

Igottogolf,

If you do not go the lead tape route, te only choice is to put lead or tungsten powder down the shaft.  This may influence the putter CG slightly, moving it toward the heel and higher, but probably not enough to notice.  Assuming the putter was 35", you will need to add12+ grams of weight to get the swingweight back to what it was originally.

Dont know if it is much different, but I had heard there is some type of tungsten plug or insert to put in the end of the shaft that works pretty good.

Those pretty much are the only options..or, you can alter swingweight by getting a lighter grip.
