Gone, But Not Forgotten... Geronimo EKIA...

WWW
« on: January 25, 2010, 06:43:14 AM »

Just wanted to get this up early for the membership...  I'll be heading to Orlando today and will post pictures possibly as soon as tomorrow night.  Tomorrow will be the Accra Demo day at Windermere CC.  Wednesday is the kick off the the PGA Show with another demo day at Orange County National and finally for Thursday & Friday will be the PGA Show at the Orange County Convention Center.  Keep a look out!

10/26/2010  Windermere C.C.  Windermere FL  Accra Demo Day!

Before we get started, I'd like to ask for a donation from all who view these pictures.  Our good friend Joshua Chervokas (AKA Mick ill Son) got a first hand look at the Windermere FL Police Dept. while on his way to Windermere CC today.  Before you could say, "Tiger, watch out for that hydrant and tree", a female officer drew here Radar Gun and got poor "Mick" for doing 36 MPH in a 20 MPH Zone.  Apparently, the Windermere PD is subsidizing Tiger's stay in that "Too Much Sex Hospital"...  The only reason I came to that conclusion is that I've never seen a 16 MPH over the limit cost one $404.00! Cry

Feeling sorry for our fellow GD'er, I started passing the hat at the golf course today and raised nearly $3.80 toward the payment of his fine...

Anyway, please give what you can! cheesyf

Just jokin' here with Mick and he's fine with all of this!  No donations needed... laugh  Then again, he thinks his boss will pay for the ticket!  Now that is really funny!!!

Picture of his speeding ticket below and some Bettinardi Putters...  More pics coming soon of Jamie Sadlowski and Art Sellinger....  Enjoy!!!

The new Miura 503 CB...

Pics of Art Sellinger and Jamie Sadlowski coming shortly!

Note the hockey stick in Jamie's Bag!

Jamie hitting a few 220 yard, 7 iron shots... shocking

Telling us how his hockey skills helped him in long drive...

The new Fast 10 Long Drive Heads in the bag of both Sellinger and Sadlowski...  Great Stuff!!!!

Phenomenal Lag!

Trick shot by Sellinger...  Still waiting for this ball to land... laugh

Jamie taking a minute out of his day to take a picture with the Camster!  A fine, young Gentleman...  Nice to see him latch on to a fine and even more reputable Sponsor in Adams Golf!

Jamie hitting some drivers on the 350 yard, Par 4 10th. hole...  Blowing by the green by 50 yards on a couple of occasions shocking shocking shocking  Needless to say, after watching him, I didn't feel like playing russian...

Jamie's Bag...

More Jamie;

Note the Black and Yellow Golf Ball Sleeve...  The new, "official" Long Drive Ball...  Slazenger Raw!!! shocking

All in All a great day for golf and one of the most exciting long drive clinics I've ever seen!  Congrats to Jamie, a fine young man whom anyone would be proud to call their Son...  Many best wishes for a long and successful career in Long Drive!  It was a pleasure to meet him!

_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

More Pics!  Day 2 Demo Day at Orange County National...  1st. 2 pics are the best!  Don't know who she is but was smokin' hot...  Hit the ball about 275 carry shocking Cry....

Watch for Day 3 At The Convention Center!

Don White & I and some of his hand ground wedges!

Yes, I hope you get a chance to go out, play, and enjoy the weather. Because as you know the weather in the Boston area is...poor.

Thanks guys!  Weather today should be even better at Orange County National...  Wanted to answer a couple of questions that were PM'ed to me last nite...  I'll do the best from recollection;

Jamie's driver:  Adams Fast 10 LD with a thicker face.  Sellinger was saying that this new face construction will withstand approx. 800 hits before they give way to breakage.  Jamie hits a 6.5 degree driver.  Ball Speed was in excess of 210 MPH...  Driver length is 48" by USGA Standards (50" LD) and his House of Forged shaft (Prototype, I think), CPM's out at 282 at that length... shocking

I think if I hit Jamie's driver, I would have a launch angle of 1* and I would hit the ball washer.  Good gholly that is a stout club.  I would be pissed about getting only 800 hits out of one though before breakage might set in.

Did I see one of those pictures correctly?  Was he hitting with his hands backwards (left hand below the right)?

Great pics Cam, thanks for those. One question...below you stated;

I wonder how this is possible since the hockey stick shown is a lefty and he swings from the right side. Did he explain that at all?

Thanks again..

He did...  Something about shooting the puck left handed, driving through it with his LH...  Helped him develop strength in the golf swing...  That may not be verbatim, but it's close... laugh

While I won't speak for Frank, this is extremely common in Canucks. Hockey sticks are readily available in left handed and right handed, while golf clubs are/were harder to come by. When you grab Dad's set from the garage, chances are it's right handed, so you use what you have.

I play with 6 guys on a regular rotation, 3 of them are lefty on the course that shoot right handed in hockey, and the other 3 are right handed golfers and one of them is a lefty on the ice.

Maybe not the norm, but not uncommon by any stretch.

I saw a program on Jamie, he states that his abidextorous swinging and shooting give his wrists and shoulders incredible flexibility that allows his terrific lag. You should see his slap shot... shocking

Thanks, I understand the hockey to golf reasoning because I played myself from 8-15 yrs old. I was surprised to see him being a lefty in hockey and then explaining how it helps his golf game being right handed. Oh well, it must have worked since he can hit his putter farther than NJM's drives.

No problem, Frank. Jamie seems like a real down to earth guy, from what I could gather from the program.

And he's Canadian, so it's a given... winkey laugh

Not to mention that I had a LD friend('08 senior champ) that actually outdrove me with his Ping Anser putter about 13-14 years ago.  russian

That is my smile...  Besides, it's not fun when someone tells you that they could build a Super Walmart between my ball and Jamie's, after our drives! laugh

Secondly, you need to get out in the sun more often,looking a touch pale

Fixed that problem yesterday... vuur laugh
