Dbvogey Is Amazing !!!

Back around Thanksgiving of last year, Dbvogey put up a Nakashima post in the BST that he was looking to part with a few drivers. After reading the post, I had a great idea what they were worth and I think trading my car with him for the clubs might have been an equal deal. Once in a very rare while you come across someone who's generosity is something that you just can't put into words. We reached a deal and it took a couple of months for it to set in what I had really had. When UPS pulled up to drop off the box at my front door I took the box and was anxious to open it up. As I tried to close the door, the UPS guy asks me if I want the other boxes too. Once I wiped up the drool off the floor and pinched myself that Christmas was still a few weeks away, I opened up the boxes. I ended up with the most amazing assortment of Nakashima Htec heads, many of which were like new. In addition there were multiple NP-1 tradition hosel heads. That was the tip of the iceberg and I realized how many great shafts there were inside with fitting hosels attached. There was a bag of extra hosels to use and numerous tightening wrenches and weights. I eagerly am looking forward to using these for fittings. I can't thank him enough for what he offered me, nor can I ever begin to put into words my gratitude. What I can say is that if you ever have the chance to deal with "dbvogey", he is a remarkable gentleman and a very generous individual. If I ever find myself in New York, I would welcome the opportunity to play a round of golf with him.

A month back, I put out a bleating request for a CB2 3W head to try out some shafts in. A couple days later, a short but sweet PM ended up in a great price on a 3W head.

The package arrived, only to have a new SMT Indio driver head packaged alongside the fairway.

While I can't vouch that this sort of thing is the norm, it's worth noting about Mr. dbvogey. A great guy to deal with, to say the least.

He sent me a SMT Indio with a Matrix Xcon for FREE and paid the shipping! WTF! I have never met the guy except thru GDiscussions. That tells you what kind of guy he is.
