What's everyones favorite modern ball with your blades to get that balata type feel?  I've tried the precept utri-tours and pro v1, srixon urx, nike one, cally hx, but so far the maxfli revolution tours have the best feel and spin for me.  Cetainly not a balata by any means but a good feel off the irons and putter with a lot of spin.  I must say the callaway hx's were second for me.  What do you guys use?

HX Tour. Best ball on the market today in my opinion and I've tried them all...

I dont know if this is even in production anymore, but the Maxfli M3 tour is the softest ball I have hit in the last two years. I can back it up with my driver. And it feels phenominally soft.

Agree with those talking about the HX Blue, UTri Tour, and the M3 balls.  Especially the M3s, anything with even that little bit of a wound layer is going to feel pretty soft.

Have liked the Rev Tour and Black Max with my assortment of Golden Rams, fwiw.

Try the HX 56 Tour ball. It is softer than the HX Tour.

B330-s is the best of both worlds! I lose NO distance with this ball and it is very soft of the blades. Rolls very good off the putter also!

firstly I agree with you on the Balata!!...glad I bought a stack of them when Dicks had a sale. strata balata's for $14/dozen. anyway, my hand's up for the HC blue too, though I've learned to love the feel of the pro v-1. there's a time the balata feels too much like a marshmallow, the pro v-1 IMHO gives you the soft response with some spring mix.

The B-330s along with the HX Tour 56 and the Srixon Soft Feel are the softest balls I know of.

I like the Pro V1. All the others are good too, but you just cant beat the Titleist ball.

I agree.  I've played it in a couple of tournaments when everything was kinda wet.  They get good distance, too.

Titleist professionals, were awesome.  Long and would stop on a dime even off a 3 iron.  Bad thing is now, they go out of shape after about 6 holes.  I still have a few I use for scrambles on par 3's.  I mainly use Prov 1x's and sacrifice a little spin for distance and control.  Plus I love the feel.  Just my two cents.

The favourite ball, off my MacGregor Muirfield iron,at this moment,is the original Dunlop Loco. I have tested most all and for overall response and performance they are as good as any. They exhibit excellent carry and shape as easily as my Revolution and ProV did.
