The first few weeks on facebook I kept getting these join my mafia messages?  I talked to a couple buddies of mine and they said just do it you don't have to participate.  So I did, and then I got addicted.  It's fun and frustrating at the same time, kinda like another leisure activity.

Another leisure activity? Where do you have the or find time do do these things..Golf discussions, facebook, mafia wars, golf,....

I gave up using Facebook and haven't used it since end of April or 1st of May. I have better things to do.

Only thing useful so far has been adding certain golf retailers and being a "fan" gets you some free $$$ and coupons. Other than that, most colossal waste of time ever. I haven't even bothered with the "Twitter" thing.

Watch as Facebook becomes the new LinkedIn.  I've had two unexpected job opportunities through connecting with old friends.

Spare time?  I don't have much but I make use of what little I have.  Something I do mostly at night.

But I must say GD is just as big a time waster, but I enjoy em all.

Mafia Wars seems like something many here would enjoy.
