I thought they were going to tape it the Sunday before the US Open started, so they could get as-close as possible to US Open conditions.

They played it on June 12. Here's a link of a post I made about it. It's only through 17 because, suprise, suprise, they had a rain delay. Big Ben shot 81, the cop shot 101 (with a 10 on a hole in the back nine), and Jordan and Timberlake finished up with pars (87 & 88, respectively). Watching the challenge now. None of the players are as impressive as Tony Romo was last year, but Big Ben has hit some damn good shots.
Isn't MJ supposed to be a Nike guy? It looks like his wedges might be Cally. I'm not sure, but I think I caught a glimpse of the Cally X on the back of them and they look like the Cally raw finish. I know he's not under contract to play their clubs, but doesn't he own a significant share of Nike stock as part of endorsement contracts from his basketball days? I guess you play what gets the job done for you.
Could they have picked a more boring, uninspiring guy to play along with the celebs? That guy seems to have the personality of a rock.

The best part of it for me was listening to the PGA pros who were caddying for Timberlake (Anthony Kim), Big Ben (Roccy Mediate) and MJ (Fred Couples). |

They have the same issue this year as they did last year with the handicaps. Mr. policeman was not a 10 handicap, he was lower, something like a 5 or 6 if I remember correctly, yet he actually shot a 101, which was close to breaking 100. If you get a true 10 handicapper, I think Tiger's comments are still 100% true.
JT, Big Ben and MJ were also all lower than 10 handicaps. However, they are used to the pressure more than a normal Joe would be, so I would think that alone gives them a slight edge.
