Jim, if I were President Obama I would award you a year's membership at Congressional Country Club and a MarquisJet account as a small token of gratitude for your selfless service to our country!

I would take him up on that offer, but then I would feel indebted to him.  I find it an honor serve for everybody in this country, even those who have a different view than I. I fee like I am really contributing to the freedom of our country, and that is what is important to me.

Golf is deceptively simple yet endlessly complicated.  It satisfies the soul and frustrates the intellect.  It is at the same time both rewarding and maddening--it is without a doubt the greatest game mankind has ever invented

I appreciate the welcome home thoughts from all.

Well, I got to get out and smack whitey around my local course today with some friends.  I ended up enjoying my round well, I was able to shoot a 75 with an 8 on the first hole after putting my tee shot in a house.  It was nice to get out and swing the clubs again.  I ended up making birdie on 3 of the last 4 holes to finish out my round.  It sort of makes me want to get back out and play some more.

I was able to hit the 9015D with Creation 80 in X flex that I traded a TP Mills Soft tail for.  This driver and shaft are awesome.  A bit longer than my 2400 DFX Pro with YS-Q.  I am looking to get out and play again on Wednesday, so we will see how it turns out.
