OBAN Golf Shaft Company -  hit pay dirt this week in Chatlotte NC..    Tiger Woods is now playing the companies high dollar shaft of course the MACH PROTO 85 X-STIFF in his NIKE driver.  he may change next week BUT it says great things about the young shaft company..
feel free to ask me any questions about the three lines they make..  1) Revenge   2) DEVOTION   3) MACH      i have hit them all and of course you guys get a great discount.          just a heads up.        dwarf

Can you give us an idea of what the three lines are priced at?  Does the revenge mimic the Redboard?  Finally, what are the HB shaft prices?

-Thanks

I think it's approximately $150 (Devotion), $240 (Revenge), $400 (??) Mach

Just a guess on the Mach -- thought I heard that number floated about.

From what I've been told, the Revenge has more kick at the tip and a softer butt than a Redboard - it has an overall softer profile than the Devotion.

He was testing out shafts -- the voodoo was tested at the Pro-Am on Wed.

Download their PDF.

Pricing is Devotion - 150, Revenge - 240, Mach - 400?

I think the owners are from GD and Fuji -- so feel ought to be similar if fit to you -- smooth.

Hi Victory,
I am very interested in the Oban Devotion 7 shaft.
SS = 105+
Avg Drive = 270
Ball Flight = Very High
Spin Rate = Very High!

As you can see, my goal is to lower the ball flight + spin rate.  I am an ex hockey player, quick tempo and load the shaft quite a bit.  Should I go with Stiff or XS?  From what I have read on their website, the Devotion line best suits me - am I correct?

thanks for any help,

TK3

Ken can fit you great, but I am exact same specs as you and I play a Devotion 6 in X and it money, I went from 70+gram down to 60+ and it made a huge difference.
