I think there are several options out there right now for that style of putter.  Besides the Odyssey, almost every builder has that style available.  If you are looking for one at a great price, search eBay for MacGregor putters.  I looked at one in this style there just a couple of days ago at a very good price.

Cleveland Classic #2, closest in shape to the Odyseey #9, the Rife has a "squarish" head to my eyes. Your other choice is a Never Compromised Series 4 milled but I do not know any OEM making a black one (aside from a $500+ Bettanardi) - you'll have to go to Black Oxide Services to customized it black.

What do you want your putter to say?

Close to the No.9
www.ssbeachgolf.com
Yaupon model.
We have made numerous models with a no.9 hosel for customers.  We are actually making three right now.  We can do just about any color finish you want.  We have a flat black that, unlike Black Oxide, will not wear off over time.

Let me know if you have any questions and I can give you a call.

The head of the Ping Piper is a similar shape.  It doesn't have that hosel, but the Karsten series does have a dark gray finish.  I game the Karsten series Piper which, at $89, is a tremendous value.

Tour Edge will be releasing a milled putter very close to the #9 in the exotics line.

I saw these at the local GG. They're actually pretty darn nice for the price.
