I've been majorly slacking for several weeks now both in posting here and in my weight loss.  I had originally started at 230 and got down to 212 before my anniversary vacation.  After that, I pretty much quit and put a bunch of weight back on.  Last Wednesday, I vowed to start back.  Weight in at 225.8 last week and am glad to say I weighed this morning at 217.  I've lost 8.8 pounds in 8 days.  My goal is to be down to 205 by October 23 when my wife and I are heading to the beach, so let's see how it goes.  Keep up the good work everyone!

182.6.  I just sort of keep bouncing around this weight.  Can't really get below it.  I will just keep working at it.

Well, I have been busy as can be at work, and not been able to run, so I packed on a few.  I am up to 183.

Is there interest in continuing this challeng into 2010?  I'd be interested in participating.

I know there are a few months to go in 2009, but the overall pounds lost is quite impressive.

Congratulations, gentlemen.

Thought I would update, I am down to 204, I held around the 210 number for nearly two months, with not a lot of exercising.  Gotten back into the last month and have slowly made gains, I have started lifting heavy as to regain the muscle I lost in the previous 6-7 months, really had an adverse effect on the golf game.  Pretty bad year on the golf course and off for me so I am using that as motivation to not play poorly again next year.  I am definitely getting stronger with all of my lifts increasing.  I have also decided to rejoin Bridgestone Golf next year starting in March, I am getting away from the politics and BS of a private club and it's also going to allow me to hit balls/practice/play almost everyday, which I need to be competitive.     It is a nice feeling for people to notice the changes you have made and for me to see the muscle building, it really is a lifestyle change that anyone can do, it is similar to golf in that it's mostly mental.

Definitely interested in 2010.  I'm still working out but as ususal having trouble losing weight at this time of year.  Too many football games to watch and therefore too much food to eat, and then there's the holiday food.  I'm at 233 now and the realistic goal is to keep it around there until after New Year's.  If I can, that would be I think 24 lbs less than last year at the same time and hopefully I can get it back in gear at that point.

But yeah, I'm up for getting it going again right after New Year's.

Still at 172 - even without running lately. Cut back on the evening meal... and no ice cream.
