Going to start making my workouts at 4:30 in the morning so I have ample time to accomplish what I need to before starting the day and will finish the day with a workout at 8pm for another hour of cardio.

Does anyone know anything about the safety of working out with the sauna suits?

Be careful and hydrate.

Did not know that the sauna suit was that dangerous. Will take that into consideration.

Put me in.

The wife and sister-in-law are doing Weight Watchers every week, they both dropped about 35 lbs from early last spring until about October - they've both put 20+ back on since.  whist

Me, I'm doing it by simply cutting down on portions, and not eating after 8:00. Flavored water(s) over soda, but I'm not going to deny myself an occasional Mountain Dew.

Dropped down to a 10+ year low this past September, hit 257 - back up to 265-267 now.

Want to get down to 250 by May, have another cruise scheduled, and still want to do the zip line in Haiti!

I'M IN!  I've never been bigger, fatter and more out of shape in my life.

I understand muscle tissue weighs more than fat tissue, but this UNIROYAL around my
waist is probably not muscle. prop

I'm about 225, would like to get back to about 200. clapping

Alright, after a rough '08 on the fitness front, I'm in for '09.

Starting off at a "robust" 256.  Not sure about long term goal, but let's say 175.

Thanks for getting this going, Scott.

I'm in.

I've put on about 25 pounds in the last year.  Simple laziness.  I'm pretty disgusted looking at myself in the holiday pictures.  I'm 241 as of this morning.  Put my goal as 210.    I hope to beat that though.

I was in last year. Had already lost a bunch in late 2007. Down over 50 from the start (Sept 07) but weight loss ended in May or so and have concentrated on not gaining any back and have been successful. Today I signed up for the rest of the month (hey its a start) with a personal trainer so I will weigh Wed and be back in. Will be curious to see if I can lose more. My current weight is around 248 (I think). Goal will be 230 as I am big on attainable goals.

236.5 as of this morning.

Don't know how I lost 4.5 pounds in two days (probably shedding some water weight,) but I'll take it!

I can't wait to see my results. I feel like I have lost a lot of my holiday weight, just from eating right and cutting out candy, soda, fast food and just eating really healthy.

Good to hear.  You really have to put the working out together with the healthy diet in order to get the best results.  However, believe it or not, many can lose more weight just by eating healthy vs if they were working out a lot and not eating that great.

There's no way around it.  Physically "we are what we eat", as they say.
