Tee time wise, I created a MS word doc with available times and copied below. At this point it looks like there are more slots than players so I will let you quote my post and insert your preference.

Couple things:

#1: I know we have a couple people that need some flexibility in later times so we can work that in.
#2: It is going to be a little tricky as there will be members from 3 or 4 forums so I will update the info every night if anything has changed.
#3: Keith secured 6 times each day for 24 slots, right now there are 14 or 15 people each day, so we probably will drop a time or two assuming we do some foursomes. This means your time could be 10 or 20min earlier/later than originally indicated. I am hoping to have this thing ironed out by thrusday night as some are leaving friday.

Geek & Geek's brother you need late times right Saturday?

@ Keith, can you refer partyoffore & other forums over here? How did you want to handle that? I guess I could always create an account if that is the easiest? Oh when is date you need to let courses know the final times? Thanks!

This all might change if we are going to draw names for the betting, Live.  Itn would be nice if we can get the handicaps and do the drawing to make the teams fair...what do you think?

Scott there is a better Seafood restaurant and it is right downtown...they throw the food from buckets over butcher paper right on the table and everyone digs in!  I will find the name and you can look it up.  It's suppose to be the best one up there.

it's called the Cracked Crab..nothing but rave reviews!  The quarterdeck......practically all bad reviews.  First one I read:  Prices are good but food is horrible!

Go to Pismo Beach and punch in Cracked Crab...plus it's right down the street from the hotel.  59 reviews all good!

We better call for reservations.  I am going to make reservations for 12 on Sat. night for 10 or 12 at Jocko's!  6:30 PM.

Steve, I did see the Cracked Crab web site and I was concerned that it looked kinda small inside. Of course, it looked great and I am good with that!

I'm not really into any sort of "team event" play (although I do have to say, if someone ever wants to play alternate shot with me, they will be playing from some strange places  laugh). Okay, okay seriously.... my preference is to let each member try to pick who they want to tee it up with.

Although if we don't get a whole bunch of response, it may be whoever is at the course 1st

I'm also willing to go by the majority vote too, if everyone wants teams then by all means teams it is

In other events I have been to we just played our rounds and then drew names to see what the teams were.  It is all luck.  As Steve mentioned we can do it by handicap "flights".  Or if no one wants in we just play.

Whatever you guys want to do...if you just want to play fine..if you want to do a team thing..fine.  The main thing is that we are all getting together and having a good time and to keep this thing going for many years to come!  The more the better!

I have a dream that one day all Gders, FGI, GOLWRX and others will get together and will be judged by the content of their character rather than.....their play on the golf course.  That one day all these organizations can 'play' together and walk together to the mountain top....for i have been to the mountain top....and watched these people play USGA rules and people.........It was Damn ugly!

WOW!  clapping

Very impressed guys!  I haven't checked in in a while and I see all kinds of great extras for the golf outing this weekend!  Thanks to all (Steve and HoF and ...?) for donating prizes and to those helping get everything set-up!!  Keith, I'm glad to see that you've put young Brian to work doing something useful!! winkey winkey

Looks to be a great time and I'm disappointed I'll miss the Saturday festivities!

FYI, my plan is to leave the house at 5:30am on Sunday, so I should be at the course by at least 8:30!

See you all then!! yahoo

Well, dammit, this sucks! tickedoff

So, as I mentioned a few days ago, I've been working for my cousin doing some construction lately. Well, yesterday, I had a little accident and jacked up my left wrist. It was pretty sore but didn't think it was anything serious. Then this morning it was severely swollen, so I went to the doctor and found out that it's broken! Nothing real bad, he says it'll heal up just fine, but it means I won't be able to make it to the outing after all. tickedoff This blows! Here I've been looking forward to this ever since last year, and now just a few days before we meet I have to back out.

Sorry guys, hate to do this, but obviously there's no way I can swing a club. Steve, I'll call you shortly about getting the information on the new job. Scott, sorry it's such short notice, but I hope you can find another roommate.

Hope you guys all have a good time. I'll be there in spirit.

This blows! tickedoff

Dude, you are not supposed to do anything risky before a weekend like this. For instance, before we go on the motorcycle ride, I don't ride in to work the whole week before as I don't want to mess up the weekend!

You had to go and learn the hard way?
