Is Tom Watson amazing or what.

At 60 years of age he shoots 67 in the first round.  Simply unbelievable.

Is Tom's 67 at 60 as good as Ben's 66 at fifty-whatever?

With him and Westwood near the top, it's looking a lot like last years British Open.

Go Tom!!!!   yahoo

Fantastic round.  No bogeys!  However, I cannot get emotionally involved just yet.  Tom broke my heart at British last year.  I still cry at night....

So then, Freddie, at fifty, goes one better, with a swing that is terribly off plane.  Really, there ought to be a natural law against that.

Go Freddie.

Me too! That was the first time in probably 13 years that my dad and I sat and watched a whole round of golf together. Last time was the final round of 96 Masters, similar disappointment, but I realized pretty soon that Faldo was gonna win. I actually thought Tom was going to pull it off last year. The quality of golf he's playing at this point in his life is amazing to me. One of the best players of all-time, it's all just adding to the legend and legacy now!
