Totally unrelated, but I just destroyed a flea market's record collection, getting Johnny Cash, Nina Simone, blues, and R/B records for a buck apiece. I absolutely murdered it.

Now you're making me wish I hadn't unloaded my old vinyl Iron Maiden albums when we sold our old house a couple years ago...

Drew, I sent you an e-mail. I can't sent PM's as I've probably not posted enough here (yet).

Just spotted this "ole thang" on the 'bay. Too bad it looks to be in quite a bad shape as a m09 LFF is high on my list of woods i one day want to split fairways with:

I will check my email.

That M09 LFF is hurting.  They are great woods (even still).  Interesting fact: they used to have long drive competitions before PGA events and the long hitters would come out and bomb away.

Mike Souchak was like the Jason Zuback of the day, except he won 15 times on the PGA Tour and finished in the top 10 in majors eleven times:

http://www.historicgolfphotos.com/search/?n=true&q=souchak&__utma=127854356.1778068687.1245960157.1245960157.1251232681.2&__utmb=127854356.1.10.1251232681&__utmz=127854356.1251232681.2.2.utmcsr%3Dimages.google.com%7Cutmccn%3D%28referral%29%7Cutmcmd%3Dreferral%7Cutmcct%3D%2Fimgres&__utmc=127854356&PHPSESSID=hvnnnb11l6kj4375mj5ismovo7

Here's a fantastic piece from Herbert Warren Wind that details some of the life on the early Tour and includes a description of Souchak's long driving prowess:

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/article/magazine/MAG1129385/index.htm

I had an M09 LFF on loan for a season, owned by two different famous putter makers.  Twas a thang of beauty:

Hi everyone,

If you're interested in Cleveland Classic persimmon, then this auction for an unhit set of Dunaway woods looks very nice. I'm only letting you know because I can't afford to bid myself!

Nice pickup, do you have to buy 7 more at full price in the coming year to fulfill the terms of the Columbia House wedge program?

Damn, those shipping fees are amost 1500 times the price of the wedge.
