Charlie Woods had a shop in Humble, Texas, (northeast side of Houston--old Humble Oil name) where he refinished a driver and two wood MT Tourney M2TW version (1964) for me, and he did fantastic work. However, this is a bit steep. He made a nice set of forged irons, too, but have not seen them since those days about 15 years ago. |

That is possibly the best playing set of blades you can buy. Extremely underated! Make Mizuno's feel harsh by comparison. They outperformed my Golden Ram, Apex, Titleist by a wide margin. I played them for 3 years and from a control and performance view blew away every blade I've played ,except the Muirfields. |

Bought a couple of beatup ginty's at a garage sale for two bucks. I took them home at worked on them, put some polyurethane on, and i can't wait to hit them. One does not have a number on it, but looks like a seven or nine wood. Should be fun.
