My friend brought a old club for me to look at and asked me if I had anyidea of the value of it and I thought you guys could help me out. I have never seen it. It was a Titleist PT Driver no serial number only marking was a 52 stamped on the ferrule the sole was totally blank and had Titleist stamped on the crown for alingment. It had a graphite shaft and old school titleist half cord grip. My friend said it came from a US Open a few years back. Like I said I am at a loss can anyone help me identify it and asses it a value I dont think he wants to sell it just wants to know more for the sake of knowing. Thanks in advance for the help.

That is one of two things. That is a proto, or that was made for someone that was playing for another club company at the time. Most likely a proto.

I figured proto of the original PT. I also figured since it was a driver head that it wouldnt have the value as say a FW.

Is there anyone else that could venture any estimates?

these are not worth very much , I found a pt prototype 3 wood at play it again sports for 2.99 out of the grab barrel and the most it fetched on ebay was $127 with a fuji vita tour 70 in it
