2010 Burner SuperFast TP 10.5 R.I.P. Tour Sonartec GS Tour 18* VooDoo Tour Adams PNT2 18* Matrix Tour Adams PNT2 22* Matrix Ping i10's DG Tour S400 4-9 46* Cleveland CG14 DG Tour S400 53* Raw Cleveland Tour CG14 DG Tour S400 58* Raw Cleveland Tour CG14 DG Tour S400 Cameron Phantom Futura2
Hey guys, modified my Ping i10’s…. Replaced the PX’s with the DG S400 Tour Issue. I picked up some CG14 Wedges with these shafts and love them…
So the club guy had a set of pull’s for my Ping i10’s 4-9 And of course they had tip prep from the r9’s they were pulled from, so we decided to grind the hosels down and add ferrules…. Also got rid of the atomic orange with some Testors model paint. And then the old school touch with the hard to find 50th Anniversary Victory grip from Golf Pride with the Grip Rite/Swing Rite guides and REAL cord! LOL … this is NEW old stock that I found a source for these online.
Of course the driver has changed:
TM SuperFast TP / Aldila R.I.P. 60X @ 44.5
I am looking forward to some range time tomorrow morning. What do you think?

Nice Bag!!! Need a pic of the putter. Tell me about your putter. The reason I ask is, I just purchased this exact same putter without trying it. Only difference is the grip.

Thanks for the compliment. The Futura has the longest tenure in the bag...sorry no pics. I went thru the Scotty grip, then had a Gripmaster leather on there...then last week my club guy, when I went to pick up the new Maltby irons he built up, he had the Winn jumbo grip on his putter in the shop...it felt good and had him install one for me. I realized that I had gotten very lazy with my putting grip and was in a funk...now I really concentrate on both thumbs square and grip it with sound fundamentals ...since last week I have made a bunch of putts. Kindest regards, Shawnee

Does that grip cause you to loose the feel of the weight of the head? At 340g, I believe, it seems that with that grip at 124g would cause a loss of feel for the head. If that makes any sense. Kinda like a buttweight. I just bought a Lamkin Jumbo Shark to try on my MS Maestro, but I'm gonna play it at 365g. The Scotty has a GP New Decade is 72g so we'll se there.

Nice Bag!!! Need a pic of the putter. Tell me about your putter. The reason I ask is, I just purchased this exact same putter without trying it. Only difference is the grip.
I have that putter as well. It has great balance and feel. I hole a lot of putts with it. The alignment aid (those 3 dots) is a big help, the lines also help with alignment. This thing just has stuff on it to make sure you align properly. I just feel like I'll hole every putt, if I read the break properly. The ball rolls very well with little skidding. It's a great, great putter for me. Funny thing is, I just don't want to use the darn thing, but nothing kicks it out of my bag! I don't know how to say this, but I have 9 putters: Futura Phantom 2 RedX Studio Stainless TM Rossa Indy Ping Anwer2 Ping Anser3 BeCu Sportsman George Low Wizard 600 Cleveland Designed by (it's an 80s version of the 8802, but hand made and very sweet) TM Rossa Monza (the original one) I don't WANT to play the Phantom, but in putt offs, or when I've had my instructor work with me on putt offs, the Phantom just always wins.

Leek- nice putter stable! Agree the Phantom is a great putter and the horizontal and vertical alignment aids remove the doubt whatsoever once you have determined the line---like cross hairs! It is back in the bag...I was trying a 38" (very short) belly putter from TM as I re aggravated an old injury and could not completely straighten my right elbow last month, was doing a N. Gulbis split grip thing...now I am almost healed and have about 95% of full use of my right arm/elbow from like 80%...believe it or not that damn L4V driver I had was like a morphine drip...Bombing was not adequate as I tipped the shaft more and more and went after the ball harder and eventually lost all rhythm with the driver and injured myself ...LOL it sucks getting old (44), pretty much pain free now... Kindest regards, Shawnee

count me in as another Phantom mallet fan. very unique "pop" and tactile sensation. i had a skinny winn grip on it. it's somewhat counterintuitive, as all the mass is down the middle. very different from the (star trek-ish) futura.

Nice setup. You're the first guy I've seen mix the MCC's with the 560's. Both are great irons.
