Frank did the work on the Del Mar. I actually got it on German eBay. Don't have a before picture, but it was pretty banged up. Frank has done a great job with it. New face milling, shaft, grip, finish, the works.

The Mil-Spec has a more dark brown antique finish, I don't know who well you are able to see that in the photos. I'm excited to see how the large white sight lines on both the Del Mar and Mil-Spec will work out when lining up a putt.

Happy New Year, Shawn.

I practice at an outdoor facility with covered stalls and heat lamps during the winter. I found the FJs on WRX, but it will probably be 3-4 months before I break them in. SO much snow this year ...

The Iron Set to End All Iron Sets ...

Soren's Miura Irons...  Miura 202 Cavity Backs: 3 through 6 iron...  Miura Tournament Blades: 7, 8 & 9 iron...  PW - 49° 1957 Miura "Y" Grind Wedge.  3 through 9 iron shafted with Dynamic Gold Tour Issue shafts in S400 Flex.  PW is shafted with a DG Spinner Wedge shaft.  Numerous sets were weight and Spine Location sorted so logo could be placed in a graphics down orientation...  Grips are the Golf Pride, New Decade, Multi Compound, White & Black in Mid-Size with logo down.  5 Iron length is 38".  When Soren comes to visit in March, ALL irons will be adjusted individually (A piece of lie tape will be used on EA. iron) to adjust for proper lie angle.  Swing weights are D3 on the 3 through 9 iron.  D4 on the PW...

Enjoy!

I'll be interested in your thoughts on their feel -- I've owned 201's and 301's in my ho' past. The two irons were completely different in feel.

When you play them, see which of these apply to the 202's and then, the blades:

soft

precise

direct

surgical

dense

pure (a perfect strike feels _ _ _ _ )

(hint - not all of them may apply)
