So ......what's better, getting married on Saturday or the new Titliest 909? ... nah, just kiddin', getting married for sure! But it does make for a nice wedding present for myself, don't you think? Make sure you tell us what the Pro says at your club when he sees you have this driver before he gets his!
Can't wait to meet him at the range. He's also does demo days for Cobra and Titleist, which will make it even funnier to show him my new stick. "What, you haven't gotten yours yet???"

Got two boxes today, more early Christmas presents:
Titleist 909 D2 9.5* from Frank at Ace of Clubs,
A Bobby Jones H2 19* hybrid and an Adams Idea Pro 23* hybrid, both from MadMaxGolf.
Pictures and review coming ASAP. I did manage to hit a couple of balls with the driver at the range after work. Really low ball flight, no ballooning at all. Sets up great behind the ball and sounds just right. The shaft is 44.5, so I don't hit it as long as my L4V (45.5) but straighter. This could be a winner for me.

Shawnee,
Thanks, it's the Aldila VooDoo (the Titleist version). I wanted to see how it worked for me before deciding on a possible change.

Hygge. you know i don't speak spanish
Wouldn't matter if you did... Dave Sorry for the Danish take-over. We'll stick to the Queens English from here on.

Thank you. Apparently, I'm not putting well with a face balanced type of putter. So it was nice to get back to a style of putter I have more confidence in. Frank did a great job on this. It looked REALLY banged up before he worked his magic. Had to ship it back to the plater three times before he was satisfied with the result, and would let it leave his shop. Talk about putting pride into your profession.

Drew, Thank you, it means a lot coming from you . Rest assured, the 008X is not going anywhere. As I stated above, I just need to try out something different to see if that will help my putting.

Thanks. It's actually a trick photo. That picture was taken a while back, but I thought it fitted right in. He is quite a bit bigger by now.
