2009 Burner TP. Seriously. I'm not kidding.

Don't you mean "2009, Quarter 1"?

I think he used to play a Rombax TP 105, but I think he has changed to Blueboard 103 XX now.

Hard to tell. A lot of TM staffers play different shafts that has the TM colour scheme painted on them.

That's what I thought. What's the difference between these two shafts?

KB Tours are stepped like a Dynamic Gold but have a flatter downrange flight- less of an "apex." Kinda like crossing a PX shaft with a Dynamic Gold, but smoother than both. I'm putting my KB Tours into a set of AP2's for some Springtime fun. If you haven't hit the KB's, -DO IT!!  clapping

I call dibbs on those! yahoo As a soon-to-be dad, I'm probably going to need some more forgiving irons than my ol' skool Titleist blades real soon.

How would you compare the KBs to Nippons? (I play the 1150GH Tours)

Hmm.. I haven't played the 1150GH Tours. I have Super Peening Blues in a set of 695CB's. The Nippons are a great feeling shaft, and if I crank up on them, they fly a long ways. The overall height of my shots is similar with the two, but I think the Nippons spin just a tad more. KB's feel a little smoother to me. Distance control has been really good as well. My only other Nippon experience was some form of 1150-somthing-or-others in the Bridgestone GC Mids a while back. They flew higher than DG's for me and were a little lighter than I care for. They weren't a good fit for me.

That's a 1K shaft right there. I'd love to try one of those in my driver.
