i believe too stiff -> loss of distance
not stiff enough -> greater dispersion (read, bigger misses)

Most of the times if its too stiff you will see high fades or loss of distance with lower flight.
Too soft can do many things high draws to high fades also

Reason I'm asking is I just bought a 16* TP Dual with a Tp Diamana shaft (have no clue what it is supposed to do) in an X-flex. I usually play s or sx (SS of around 105) but it seems I can handle this setup. I play to a draw and hit a nice high draw with this setup. i might lose it to the right once in a while, but i lose everything to the right once in a while, so just trying to figure out what I have here..........
