Inga Hammond - serious question

It is apparent that the golf channels success is that they have no competition. As such, there is no need to maintain a costly pool of talented broadcasters.

It is possible the current group maybe better than the staff they have 3 years down the road.

Very possible. As time goes by, they only seem to be getting worse.

Tilghman is getting a little better though.

Kelly, I think, is trying to find her broadcaster niche.

But she needs to cut out the over-the-top melodrama at the beginning and end of each day's event -- it's so sweet that you can see the honey dripping from her lips..........

They are obviously poor judges in talent and could never decipher between good and bad.

Jennifer Mills, Vince Cellini, Scott Van Pelt, Peter Kessler, all good people in my opinion, are now gone.

Adam Barr, Inga Hammond, Steve Duemig, Mike Ritz, and anyone else I left out, are still there...

Agree with all the above Frank. Inga looks like 10 miles of bad road and on top of that doesn't know the subject matter.

The picture of her in your wallet could of only been taken by you.  Blurry, Out of Focus, Poor Brightness, Little Contrast.  You're the only one I know of that could take a picture of INGA and have it resemble ELIN...  Geez, Max...

Inga Hammond comes off as a cruise ship lounge act who stumble-dicked her way into broadcasting.  Like the Sweeney Sisters act from Saturday Night Live.  The lounge singer sisters, Jan Hooks and Nora Dunn - she is the lost unholy missing link to the Sweeney Sisters triumverate.

While we're cleaning house, let's get rid of Duemig, Page, Barr and put Megan West on notice.

PS - FWIW, I thought Jennifer Mills was an outstanding broadcaster of golf.  With that said, and I know she didn't look good on the tube, but in person she literally looked like a skeleton with hair - ghoulish.

Adam Barr is inconsiderate, has a slur and an absolutely horrendous swing.

He should be fired and never allowed to play golf again.

He cut in front of us @ the PGA show to hit the FTi (we were waiting 20-30 minutes and that was the shortest we had seen the line), after he said he has already hit the club, didn't apologize, scared the crap out of me with his swing and proceeded to slice 4-5 shots, hard slices.

I'm sorry, call me what you will, but anyone that is being paid to speak needs to be able to speak properly.  I don't have any problems with accents, most everyone has one, but he can't enunciate to save his life and I can't stand listening to him speak.

yep, Inga is gross.  She sounds like she's been smoking Marlboro Reds way to long and the head bob body wiggle thing she does while speaking really irritates me.  Meagan West isn't that bad at all.  Kelly's voice puts me to sleep, its way to monotone and deep for broadcasting golf.  Adam Barr should not be doing equipment testing (which is golf channel code for info mercial). 

But the worst has to be Steve Dumass.  That guy is the absolute worst of the bunch.

I'm so annoyed by him I actually get angry when I hear him. Needless to say I won't watch any Golf Channel programming with him on it.

I like Duemeg and the 19th hole is the best show on the golf channel. Inga must go however and asap, and please for the love of god take the bow tie wearing idiot from the Callaway show with her.

I couldn't agree more.  That whole show is a train wreck.  I tried watching last night because of the conversation and between bow tie boy and Inga, it was just awful.  Good concept but so was "bubble shafts".  They need to be euthanised (sp?).

No criticism at all in my e-mails, just a statement of fact that I turn the channel when she is in on.

I have a new tact that I'm exploring and let's see if that gets me a warm body to talk to.

tgc hires "talent" that is decent enough. "talent" they don't have to pay well. "talent" they can bend over and take advantage of repeatedly because said "talent" knows this is the best gig they can get.
