I started my collecting and hoing with classic clubs back in the 80's.   Then in the early 90's I got into scotties,  and to be honest with you guys Scottie has tired me.   I am going back to collecting Palmers, 8802's,  Ping Scottsdales,   and Ironmasters.   I am excited to find this Classic FOrum hopefully there are a few other old school classic guys here.

I think it is an IM-6. I will check and see. It has a replacement shaft and grip. I will see about getting pics if you are interested.

Me too.  I have had 3 scotties - they were nice, I did like them.  But I never loved them.

I do however love my anser F w/Ti pixels.

It is awesome, and a real keeper.

I've had 2 Scotty's and I liked them.  The one putter I love is a nickel Scottsdale Anser.  I have made a lot of clutch putts with this.

My all time favorite-Ping Anser in Copper Berylium. 2nd-Ping B60 in Copper Berylium. 3rd-Scotty Mil-Spec, 4th-Odyssey Rossi 2. Some of the new insert putters are developing nice feel. Try the new Odyssey white steel with a composite insert that has a steel insert in it.

I like Scotty's, but have never been a collecter. I am under teh impression that to collect something it has to be rare and no-longer available. Scotty comes out with so many different putters, and limited editions, and inspired bys, and first runs, and on and on that it becomes a moot point! Who wants a collection that you have to buy 75 putters a year to just keep current? I would much rather collect the rare old PING putters that are never going to be made again.
