I've tried to compile some of Cwebb's ball testing.  I'll add to the table as more info is made available.  Hopefully this will help.  If any of you guys/gals want balls added to this table, and have some numbers, pm the info to me.

Great info, thanks!

I'm completely baffled about the spin numbers of the e5 and e6 on full wedge shots.   uhm
You sure it's not a typo?

I just copied what Cwebb posted  back in February.  Everyone was shocked that the spin was so low.  The numbers are the numbers that he got in testing.

No typo.  These were the numbers I got with my 52* on a 3/4 shot.  I was shocked as well.........so I did extra testing to make sure the numbers were right........and they were.  The E6 is flat out terrible on a partial wedge shot.

I'd like to see some Nike balls when you get a chance - specifically, the ONE Platinum and ONE Black, and maybe the Juice.

The ONE Platinum produces a lot of backspin off the driver for me.  If I remember right, it was in the 3200-3400 range.  I'll try and get some solid numbers on it.

I haven't tested the ONE Black yet.

I like both the Srixon Zur and Zurs off the driver and irons, very good ballspeed and fairly low spin,..... but the partial wedge spin is pretty low on these.  I need to test the Zurc.

Have you done any of the lower price Srixons, like the TriSpeed, Soft Feel or AD333?  I'd be willing to donate a couple for testing...

Not yet, but I believe Hung has some AD333's on the way.

Can I send you a sleeve of the '06 ONE Blacks to test? It would work best if these numbers all came from the same club.

That would be great.  This is the premium ball that has been at the top of my list to find out about.

colby, in regards to the z-urs' wedge spin, what does it compare to?  i love the fact that it gave good ballspeeds and low spin off driver.  exactly what im looking for.  but i still want some greenside spin, not a ton, but i want the ball to check when it is supposed to.  thanks

I need to test it again and get some more numbers......it's been a while.  As I recall, the partial wedge spin was middle of the road........well below the top premium balls, but higher than an NXTtour for example.  If you don't try and play a lot of spin and check shots around the greens, it's probably a good neutral ball to do some experimenting with.

This is extremely valuable information to have.  As the data continues to come in we will all become scratch golfers.  Thanks for taking the time to submit the info.
