The game of golf is played pin high!! If anything, take one more club. Far too many golfers never hit their approach shots even remote close to the green.

How do you like the LT2's ? Most trash them for feel, etc. I talked to Bobby Clampett the the NW event in my area and he said they are the best combo of feel and forgiveness he has tried. Big Gap between the 22° and the 5 iron ?

I really like them. I demo'd these and a few other sets, and for me, they were the best looking/feeling irons that I was consistent with. I am no "player" so take it for what it's worth. I got these and then started reading all of the bad reviews online after I had them. I think the people who don't like them are better golfers than me, who want blade feel and some forgiveness. I want max forgiveness with a thin topline. That's where I'm coming from. The 22* is pretty new to me, only had it about 3 weeks. It seems to fit pretty well, maybe a 15 yard gap instead of 10-12, but I can choke down on it comfortably. I had a DGS300 in my 19*, and really liked it, but it was shorter that the 22*. So I got the Limey. Currently waiting for the epoxy to dry. That shaft is really bright!!!

there has been a disturbance in the force. The driver has changed, and the irons are fighting a strong rebellion from adams...

Just saw your comment here Kenny. I saw BC playing these recently at Brier Creek CC in Raleigh. He lives out there, a buddy of mine is a member and Bobby hangs on the range when in town.

Bobby has some game and for a little guy he moves the ball off the tee, expect big things from him on the SR tour.

Didn't check out your putter when I was hitting all the clubs in your bag the other day... nice stick. I love the grip/shaft job golf etc did on the 3 wood. Priceless.

Hungsolo, very nice set up. You mentioned replacing the DSG300 in a 19* hybrid with a Limey. I don't much about these shafts, but I have a TM Rescue that is 19 and has the same steel shaft. I would love to get another 10-15 yards out of it. I hit it well right now, just need a little more yardage. Would upgrading to the Limey accomplish this?
Also, how do you like your bag? There is one sitting in my pro shop that has been there forever and am thinking about making an offer on it since they can't seem to get rid of it.

1. You should, because the steel is shorter than TM recommends graphite in that hybrid. 2. The distance for me is more predictable because it goes higher, and rolls less. I like my bag. Make sure it fits you with clubs in it, because the strap thingy is not very adjustable. If it fits you, it's a great bag, super convenient. It's not as comfy as regular straps, but way more convenient.

Interesting...I hadn't heard that before. I have learned more in 2 days on this site than I did for 2 years on another site that shall remain nameless. Their answer to everything was to put a Matrix shaft in a tour head. Is it the Hybrid Limey you put in? I can't decide if I want to put in a shaft or upgrade to your exact Hybrid since I am on 3 year old technology with mine. I haven't had a chance to hit the new Adams yet, but I hit mine pretty well even with the steel shaft set up.

Yeah, hybrid Limey UL 580. R is the stiffest they come, so to get to S you tip it 1 inch. It was a little high, so I tipped it 1.5 inches and that was nice. I think 1.75 inches might be perfect.
I think the TM hybrids are great, but the adams is rock solid, and looks better/smaller IMO.

Thanks. I hit it pretty high right now even with the steel shaft. Would also like to keep it shorter for accuracy, so maybe the 1.75 would be perfect. For the price, I think I'll try a new shaft and if I don't love it, I'll move on and demo an Adams. You like the Limey better than the VS Proto that was in it? What are the differences?

Mine was head only, so I didn't pull the VS proto. The VS proto is a great shaft. If you get an Adams, there's nothing wrong with that shaft. Nice, mid trajectory, super smooth. I was actually tipping the Limey to get the ballflight closer to that of the VS proto (another thing I blame golfware for making me covet)

Man, everytime I look at that R7 460 TP, I just tell myself to get one.... Hum.. well, when you get tired of it, just let me know. That's an awesome setup, with a great shaft. Don't sell it before you let me try it again...
